Our story

What a crazy year 2022 was, from the initial passing conversation about a unit becoming available in the parade and somehow arriving very quickly at the decision to give it a go because, well, why not….we’ve been talking about it for years, to looking back through photographs of renovations, opening, first events and more.

We’re super glad that we decided to take the plunge and looking forward to continuing to develop and grow the business, putting on more workshops, events and continuing to make the shop even better.

We would like to take the opportunity to thank each and every one of you who have visited us, to you it might just be the purchase of a coffee but to us small business owners each one makes us do a little happy dance inside.

The coffee that we serve is supplied by North Star coffee roasters, a B Corp certified coffee roastery in Leeds, prioritising people & planet before profit.

Each of our products (food, drink and homewares) are carefully and meticulously selected for their sustainable and ethical qualities, with an enthesis on supporting independent and local companies wherever possible.
